There is a bearish break of structure when price is giving bullish structure and the most recent higher low is breached. If price created a lower low, then it is considered a break of structure or abbreviated as BOS. Price can create an equal low and still maintain bearish structure but it cannot create a lower low. This is considered a bearish break of structure because price has broken bullish structure and is now in bearish structure.
